Terms for candidates and data processing
A short document about what happens to your profile. Three minutes to read.
What this document is
It sets out what we do with your profile, what we promise and what we do not. By ticking consent in the form you agree to what is written below.
It is deliberately written in plain language. If any wording is unclear to you, write to us and we will explain it before you submit the form.
What we do
We receive your profile and check that it is complete.
We build a CV from it in English and Russian and give it to you. The CV is yours: you may use it anywhere, including without us.
We pass the CV to recruitment companies, employers and partners we work with across the Gulf.
We tell you when a suitable vacancy appears and explain how the paperwork works.
What we do not promise
We do not guarantee employment. The employer decides, and we have no influence over that decision.
We do not promise timelines — neither for an employer's reply nor for paperwork.
We do not issue visas and cannot promise one. A work visa is applied for by the employer against a specific position, and a government body decides.
We do not quote or guarantee the size of a future income.
We do not promise that any particular company will look at your profile.
Money
The candidate pays nothing. Not for the profile, not for the CV, not for passing the CV to an employer, and not for 'reserving a place'.
Recruitment is paid for by the employer. That is the normal practice of this market.
If anyone asks you for money in our name, it is not us. Write to info@domusporta.com and we will look into it.
What data we collect
Your name, date of birth, citizenship, the country and city you are in, your visa status, contacts, trade and length of service, employers and projects, education, certificates, languages, a photograph if you uploaded one, and your income expectations.
We do not collect passport details or document numbers. They are needed neither for the CV nor for passing it to an employer. If someone asks you for them in our name, that is a reason to be careful.
What goes into the CV and what does not
The CV carries what an employer normally reads: name, position, where you are and your status, length of service, skills, languages, certificates, work experience, education and contacts.
The CV does not carry your income expectations, our internal notes, or the date you filled in the form.
Your contacts do not go to an employer straight away: first they review an anonymised shortlist, and only the candidates they select come with contacts.
How the data is stored
The CV is available at a personal link. That link is not indexed by search engines and cannot be guessed by brute force.
We do not publish CVs openly and we do not turn the candidate database into a public showcase.
Data is kept while you are looking for work through us. If you ask us to delete it, we delete it.
How to withdraw consent
Write to info@domusporta.com from the same address you gave in the form and ask for your data to be deleted. No identity documents are needed.
We then delete the profile, the CV and the photograph and stop passing them to anyone. Consent can be withdrawn at any moment and without giving a reason.
We cannot reach back into CVs already sent to an employer before the withdrawal — we say so openly.
The photograph
The photograph is used only in your CV. We do not publish it on social media, do not use it in advertising and do not show it to other candidates as an example.
Changes
We may change these terms. The date of the latest revision is at the foot of the page. If a change is material, we will tell those whose profiles we hold.
